Description

Steps to reproduce:
1. create 2 videodisplay components. assign a different source to each.
2. interchange the sources for the 2 components.
3. keep doing this a few times after the play starts

Actual Results:

eventually the videos become jerky and browser becomes slow to a crawl

Expected Results:
the videos should play properly and should not crash the browser
