Description

To be more unix-like, we should rename the <> operator as ().

Currently () creates LDAP filters, but this is a little used feature and can be removed.

Peter Kriens writes:
"I do agree that we should replace the <> with (). This makes a lot of sense and there are not that many filters in use anyway. We could now make filters <> if we want."

This issue is simply to replace <> with (). It does not introduce any different behaviour.
