Description
Currently merge join does not use implicit cast if the two expressions in the join condition are of different data types. However if we have such a situation it works as expected because we have function implementations for numeric comparisons with different data types. As part of DRILL-2753 we are getting rid of it so merge join will need to use implicit cast if the expressions in the join condition are of different types.
