[DISPATCH-452] Prevent javascript alerts on Entities and Topology pages when new routers join network

Description

When a new router is joining the network there is a period of time when the list on nodes that is reported is in flux. During that period, javascript errors can popup on the Entities page.

Add more error checking to prevent the popup errors.
