      Description

      Reported by ALLENW here: http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/24597/apache-directory-studio

major: It looks like LDAP Studio doesn't like DN's with / in them. Operations on such DN's results in the queries to the LDAP server failing This makes it particularly hard to use for entries like automountKey=/home, which are very crucial for many deployments.

I could confirm thas Studio has problems with the slash in DNs.

JNDI treats the slash internal as a special character, see here: http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=4307193. Now we are using our own implementation of the Name interface.
