see a failure for this test with 10.2.0.0 alpha - (394001) on IBM 1.4.2
I don't see ran out of time. Is this the same failure or something different?

This appears to be different than DERBY-989 as it has failed repeatedly with IBM 1.4.2 and has a diffferent error.
