Minor Description
Saxon uses XdmNode's for all of its processing. For anything that uses Saxon as its core (e.g. XMLCalabash) it might be useful for Daffodil to input/output directly to XdmNodes. Currently, one must convert from XML text or something that Daffodil supports, which adds overhead.
