[CB-9030] Shell scripts can't execute when pulled from Windows to *nix via source control

Description

This manifests in weird ways, for example, cordova-plugin-whitelist can't be added on a Mac when the Windows platform is added, or if you add the iOS platform from Windows and it gets checked in. (You shouldn't do it, but it happens).
