Description

When calling the beep() function, the very first time it works fine, but all the subsequent function call after that would result it to beep twice(at least sounds like twice) and the delay between each beep seems larger and larger.

Hard to explain the behavior, but similar to the following pattern:
ding - dingding - - dingding - - - dingding - - - - dingding
