auto-convert "x.x.x" to version numbers

    Description

      Throughout doc, instances of "x.x.x" should convert to the current cordova version number. Make sure this conversion occurs whenever building doc, not just major releases.

      Task #2: convert any "x.y.z" (case-insentitive) in source to "x.x.x" and likewise flush out any hard-coded version numbers.
