Output from my test "abc" project:

ulothrix:pg sierra$ cd abc/
ulothrix:abc sierra$ cordova ripple android
[TypeError: Cannot call method 'update_project' of undefined]
ulothrix:abc sierra$ ls platforms/
android
ulothrix:abc sierra$ cordova ripple android
[TypeError: Cannot call method 'update_project' of undefined]
ulothrix:abc sierra$ cordova build android
ulothrix:abc sierra$ cordova ripple android
[TypeError: Cannot call method 'update_project' of undefined]
