[CB-11958] Doesn't append "8" at the end of version code anymore

Description

In build.gradle:

• reverting line 167 to previous version and
• uncommenting block at line 203
  I can get the old behavior back.
  Otherwise I can't upload my APK to Google Play Store because its version code is lower than the one of the APK that's in production
