Description

Persistent storage was made available via JS API navigator.store in the 4.x phonegap release. This has not made it across to the new blackberry5.x/6.x phonegap release.

localStorage is not available in RIM5.x and so the webworks gears/sqlite integration must be used to store offline data. This appears slower than localStorage access additional code is required to support 5.x currently.
