    Description

Configuration page: is there a way to completely disable them (not just hide)?

The balancing act is between the usefulness of it vs the potential insecurity of it. I'm not keen on adding it into @Import as an extension, unless we formally move it out and make it into an extension. But I would much rather that there's a config property for this menu service, more discoverable, perhaps an enum which is ALWAYS_SHOW, NEVER_SHOW, SHOW_ONLY_IN_PROTOTYPE mode ... with the last being the default.
