Description
At present the download page uses the generic ASF mirror page for downloading the release files.
This works fine, but requires an extra step for the user who has to click on one of the mirror links.
The closer.lua script also supports a redirect option as follows:
www.apache.org/dyn/closer.lua?filename=camel/apache-camel/2.15.4/apache-camel-2.15.4.zip&action=download
The disadvantage is that the mirror cannot be selected by the user in case of problems with the initial choice. However the mirrors are chosen randomly each time the closer.lua script is used, so a simple retry should resolve the issue.
