camel-catalog and camel-core-model are different, ex.

1. in camel-catalog we have expression and serviceCall that are not in camel-core-model
 
2. camel-core-model we have json data format requires for marshal/unmarshal, however in camel-catalog only specific json libraries
 
3. Expression languages are different
 
4. Folder names: model vs models, dataformat vs dataformats, language vs languages
 
5. Folder structures: dataformat inside model vs dataformat in the same as models
