Description

Pytype is a static type checker used by some customers to verify Beam pipelines.

It doesn't support a certain style of comment-based type hints (see https://github.com/google/pytype/issues/480).

The request is to change these type hints to an alternative style that Pytype understands.

It is expected that comment-based type hints will go away once Py2 support is dropped in Beam.
