[BEAM-10390] Java PreCommit fails with no reason for failing

Description

For some reason we are not pulling out the error information from the logs. And trying to dig through the log file is time consuming, as there is no obvious keyword to CTRL-F for, and the log is very long and causes the browser to slow down. Ideally there is some way we can improve this so it doesn't take so much time on each iteration to find the error.
