            I changed the package name in the Java source because the change is minimal. Maybe moving it to the io directory instead is more appropriate, I don't know.

            +1 This is the right fix. It's not something primarily related to org.apache.hadoop.io, but rather to org.apache.hadoop.mapreduce.
