Description
The parent pom.xml file defines some dependencies outside of its dependencyManagement section that are not used by the parent pom.xml file but are inherited by all children.
This is not the best use of maven, as it adds dependencies where they are not actually directly used. To fix this I am migrating the dependencies into the dependencyManagement section and inserting the relevant declarations in the children pom.xml files as necessary.
