[AMQ-7445] NoClassDefFoundError after upgrading log4j 1.2.17 library to log4j 2.13.0 in apache-activemq-5.15.11-bin

Hi Team,

 

As part of our project, due to security vulnerabilities scanned by whitesource tool in log4j 1.2.17 [i.e., CVE-2019_17571] we need to upgrade the library to Log4j 2.13.0 and thus facing java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Level exception.

Could you please let us know classpath to be defined for "logQuery" in activemq.xml or let us know what is causing the issue by referring the attached logs.

Please refer the logs and log4j.properties and help us with the solution.
