Description

Steps To Reproduce

1. Select 2.X stack and go ahead to "Select Services" page
2. Navigate back to "Select Stack" page and select 1.x stack
3. Go ahead to step-8 "Review" page.
4. On clicking next, API call to create components for HDFS service fails with UI displaying an error message.

Invalid Request: Unsupported or invalid component in stack, clusterName=cc, serviceName=HDFS, componentName=JOURNALNODE, stackInfo=HDP-1.3
