[AIRAVATA-3390] 'Auto add to user group" is not working in production gateways.

Description

1. Some gateways has users added to active user group (Default) automatically without gateway admin interference. 
2. This feature is not currently working. 
3. When user account is created and verified the user is not added to the group.
4. When such user logs in see "'NoneType' object has no attribute 'projectID'"
