Description

The current mechanism for generating documentation for the configuration is a bit clumsy, because it puts a lot of text into java String literals. I think it would be better to put these in a separate file, which can be read from the code to generate the documentation.

The best solution might include descriptions in several languages, but simply separating the large volumes of text from the java code would be satisfying.
