It still seems to be hard to get people into the proper mind set of writing their own components rather than trying to max out on the component set we deliver.

We should create a couple of examples that displays how easy it really is to bake your own. A good start would be a date picker and some other javascript thingy, that exposes just a minimal API and that packages the resources it needs in the web app folder. So far, most of our components focus on encapsulation and being reusable across multiple projects. But these components would be written for one-project only and would have simplicity as their key feature.
