    Description

      CloseHook could have empty methods instead of abstract ones allowing extensions to only overwrite what they need instead of forcing empty boilerplate on everybody. Further, since we won't have any abstract methods any more, it might be cleaner to switch to an interface.

       

      I'd like to get this into 9.0 since it is an API change and might affect plugin writers.
