Minor Description
According to http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=log4cxx-user&m=114554979206804&w=2, it appears that log4cxx has not been updated so that it will create missing directories in file specifications. This was recently in mid-2005 to log4j (bug 9150 applied both to log4j 1.2 and HEAD) and likely not ported over to log4cxx.
