    Description

      Jira uses renderers for displaying text fields. These can be configured on a per-field basis.

      Currently most fields use the "Default Text Renderer". I would like to enable the "Wiki Style Renderer" for "comment" and "description" fields. This would enable using markup in those fields. I'm specifically interested in using code blocks. Something like:

      if ($code_nicely_formatted)
      {
          echo "Works!";
      }

      Christian, I'm assigning this to you since I don't seem to have sufficient privileges to do this. Not sure if you do, so please try. If not, we can ask INFRA.
