Description

When the db jar is missing, Impala will start up with an empty catalog and log an error in the log. However, the error isn't visible to the client. A client connects, see nothing, issue an "invalidate metadata", the only error we show is "The class loader argument to this method cannot be null.".
This is a minor improvement because CM should validate the setup (and there's a JIRA for it).
