Description
We've had a recent flux of support for Accumulo in other projects (Hive, Pig, Sqoop) and we support any language support by Thrift through the Proxy.
It was suggested that we consider adding support for other languages (Go or Scala were given as examples), as well as other projects (Mesos and Spark were given as examples).
These might be captured in other project JIRAs, but we can use this to track the general efforts being put forward by people.
