Description Kev Palfreyman 2005-12-12 12:40:32 UTC
I just used the win32 installer for 5.5.14beta, and noticed that the installer
reported the following disk usage stats:

Space required: 11.3MB
Space Available: 266.-9GB

Notice the ".-9"

There was actually just over 266GB free.

This is a bug in the NSIS installer and outside of our control. A quick look at
the release notes for the latest version doesn't give any indication that this
is fixed.

Your best bet is to report the bug directly to the NSIS developers at

Rather than INVALID (the problem *is* a real one!), shouldn't the resolution be
WONTFIX?

Reported on NullSoft project as suggested.

I followed this up with the NSIS project. It seems the bug is fixed in version
2.11, but someone forgot to mention it in the change notes.
https://sourceforge.net/support/tracker.php?aid=1380254

Maybe the next tomcat release could use a new version of the NSIS installer?
