I am a Newbie to server installation and Configuration........

I am on a debian 64M System trying to Install JDK1.5 and Tomcat5.5.9
I Install it and i am Using JAVA_OPTS = -Xmx64m 
Its starting up correctly but its not Stopping its giving error 

Error occurred during initialization of VM
Could not reserve enough space for object heap
Could not create the Java virtual machine.

Can any onr please Guide me how to Solve this Problem
