Description Olaf Felka 2009-02-19 13:07:58 UTC
- ooobasis3.1-writer2latex installs to the brand layer
- ooobasis should install to the shared layer
Comment 1 ingo.schmidt-rosbiegal 2009-02-19 16:48:14 UTC
Extensions are not supported in the basis layer at the moment. Therefore it is
necessary to install them into the brand layer from a brand layer specific
package. In a test I wanted to install StarOffice next to an existing
OpenOffice.org (OOO310 m1), but could not select the Writer2latex package in the
Java GUI Installer, because this package was already installed by OOo. Therefore
it was not available for StarOffice.
I created cws native227 to look for further packages that are not correct in the
 3 layers.
This must be corrected before OOo 3.1 release.
