Description michael.ruess 2009-02-03 11:50:13 UTC
The CWS "menuchanges" erroneously changed the menu entry "Insert.Object" to
"Insert.Drawing object". This does not make sense anyway in this point, so
please change it back. Thanks a lot!
Comment 1 michael.ruess 2009-02-03 21:37:53 UTC
MRU->VG: please remove the change for the menu entry "Format.Drawing object"
done by issue 64127 (CWS menuchanges); it should get the former entry
"Format.Object". Reason is, because the "Insert.Object" submenu uses the same
entry and here "Drawing object" does not make sense at all and will confuse
users anyway.
Comment 2 vg 2009-02-12 15:23:27 UTC
fixed in the CWS localization35
Comment 3 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-02-27 06:26:14 UTC
this problem is definitively not limited to the word processor, that auto seat
in the spreadsheet application of "Ooo Dev 3.1.0 multilingual version German UI
WIN XP: [OOo310m2 (Build 9385)]". But I believe that changes in the menu will be
visible in all applications.
Comment 4 Rainer Bielefeld 2009-02-27 11:19:08 UTC
Please have a look on Issue 99695 my comments Fri Feb 27 11:13:52. It seems that
there is some derangement concerning object-texts in different menus, and also
translation might be involved.
Comment 5 andreschnabel 2009-02-28 12:12:56 UTC
how can it be that a english string is changed in a l10n cws?

How is this supposed to work for all our translations?
Comment 6 ivo.hinkelmann 2009-03-02 16:32:54 UTC
Hi Andre, the l10n have been reverted to the old value "Drawing Object" ->
"Object" as well
Comment 7 sgautier.ooo 2009-03-02 17:28:28 UTC
The l10n has been reverted in the cws but not on Pootle, so when the extract
from Pootle will be done for conversion to .sdf file with our fixes, the string
won't be reverted for localization. Or did I miss something? Sophie

fixed l10n for this new string
Comment 9 ivo.hinkelmann 2009-03-02 17:57:44 UTC
yes this string is not yet visible in pootle as the changed en-US string is not
yet onto the master. I attached the changed l10n for this string, someone should
upload it into pootle as soon as the changed string appeared there
