Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 78493
missing possibility to define new hyphenpoints in hyphenation dialog
Last modified: 2014-03-11 12:14:40 UTC
Semiautomatic hyphenation (Extras-Sprache-Silbentrennung) sometimes offers a selection of possible hyphen-points, user can choose a point further to the left (closer to the begin of the word). But user unfotunately cannot choose a new hyphen-point, which OO doesn't offer.
Reassigned to SBA.
Please attach a sample document.
since in the attached file the hyphenation proposed by OO are alright but if I would like to define (wrong) new hyphenpoints e.g. Ka-tzenbrei or Att-raktionen it's not possible i the autohyphendialog (and there are examples when OO doesn't know the right hyphenpoints)
OO wants me to hyphenate: bein-hal-tet, but good is only be-inhal-tet al-ter-ss-pe-zi-fi-sche, but good is only al-ters-spe-zi-fi-sche Tex-to-ber-flä-chen, but good is only Text-ober-fläche I want to set hyphenpoints (insert soft-hyphen) in the hyphenation-dialog. see also issue 78489 and 78492
