Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 70383
Copy/Paste styles
Last modified: 2013-02-07 22:37:09 UTC
An option to copy/paste headings in Writer would be very much appreciated. This would decrease mouse-usage and is just a really nice feature. The shortcut ctrl+shift+c and ctrl+shift+v could be attached to this. Note: This is NOT about copy/pasting text, just the heading.
Reassigned to requirements. BTW: you can assign heading styles to paragraph by using CTRL-1, CTRL-2 ...
Yes, I know about CTRL+1 etc. But this is more like a copy/paste enhancement for formatting/styles. A friend of mine (who is a Word user) missed it very much in OOo Writer.
Apple's Pages has shortcuts for - Copy Character Style =~ CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-C - Copy Paragraph Style =~ CTRL-ALT-C - Paste Style =~ CTRL-ALT-V (It also has following shortcut, which should not be used for this: - Paste and Match Style =~ CTRL-ALT-SHIFT-V => similar to "Paste Special... -> Unformatted Text" in OOo)
