Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 49961
Styles Preview required in Format Management and related dialogs
Last modified: 2014-03-16 08:49:58 UTC
In File: Templates: Organize...: Template management, It'd be better if one could see an example of the focused style, before to decide to copy it or not. + In styles list, each style name could be formatted according to the character attribute of this style (its own style). + If a paragraph style is focused in the list, a small paragraph, formatted according to the focused style, could appear as an example.

I think it would be useful to have a preview anywhere, not only in Templates Manegement dialog. But that's not a trivial task. And please also see "Bug 41717 - Paragraph Style Dropdown should show preview in Format Toolbar of Writer and Calc "
Please attach example.

I think this RFE is crystal clear, no example required. I will attach some primitive mockup.
