When trying to copy and past text from this URL:

Open Office Writer stops responding and I have to kill the task..

Copy and pasting for other pages seems to work fine.

I had no problems when I copied ONLY text. It depends on the (amount 
of) graphics that you copy along with the text. The freeze is not 
endless, but I admit that it looks like that at first.

I tried to copy & paste the info from the URL below using IE 5.5 so I 
could print without having the big green bar on the left. When I 
pasted, however, it created 3 pages and EVERYTHING was somehow in the 
2nd page, and every time I scrolled, my computer 'dinged'.
I tried it multiple times, and it did it every time.

Trying to do the same copying from Netscape 6.2 works fine.

Problem still exists in OOo 643.  Pasting as unformatted text works 
fine.

Use the following URL

http://www.koffice.org/kword/euro.phtml

and just cut and paste the article.

Hi Kay,

as discussed it has nothing to do with the clipboard and/or Drag&Drop.
Seems to be as WebDav UCP related issue. Would you kindly have a look
on it.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
