Description jogi 2004-08-02 12:35:52 UTC
In the past we have shown HTML Document (.html;.htm) in the file open dialog and
also in the file save dialog. It makes only sense in the file open dialog but we
save only (as default) .html and not .htm.

The specification of that is in the URL field and if it is a small, easy to fix
issue MIB would be do that in OASIS2 CWS other wise you have to find a CWS on
your own.

changed from TASk to ENHANCEMENT

AS->PB: Please take over this task. JS and I discussed the following algorithm:

a) ask the TypeDetection service for the list of possible extensions
b) use only the first item of returned extension list to show it on the UI
c) do the same by adding a default extension if the user used a file name
without extension

Changing the underlying configuration and using of any explicit order value isnt
an option. Because it would lowering our startup performance.

Note: We has to change the existing spec, which describe the filter grouping and
extension feature ...

Feel free to ask me for further informations on this issue. THX.

PS: JS decided to set OO Later as new target ... please contact him.
