Description lohmaier 2003-12-29 15:43:07 UTC
Before the upgrade a klik on the "Priority" link of an issue brought up the
page describing the Priorities (P1 - severe issues, data loss, etc - P2 severe
issues, no easy workaround, P3 -standard issues, P4 - minor problems, fixing
less important than release-in time, P5 - very minor issues, developer decides
it it is worth a fix)
now, the link just says:

        * P1 - Most important
        * P2
        * P3
        * P4
        * P5 - Least important

Which is not as useful for QA-team as the old explanations.

We would have to replace ddIssues_EnterModify.html.
But has somebody the old text?
Comment 2 lohmaier 2003-12-30 18:09:16 UTC
http://qa.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=dev&msgNo=541

should contain the definitions/the old text

I'll coordinate with CN on this.
Please keep in mind that this will constitute a one-off, in all likelihood, and so should be tracked as
such.

Comment 4 lohmaier 2004-01-06 00:51:01 UTC
? why should improving issuezilla's documentations should be a one-time thing?
I understand your comment as "ok, this time we will try to make this change, but
no changes any more in future"
Thanky anyway..
Comment 5 stx123 2004-01-06 09:32:34 UTC
Hi, it's a question of maintenance. Non-standard changes/customizations to
SourceCast are called one-offs. We are likely to forget/loose them with the next
update - as we lost the changes with the migration to SC26.
This is why we would like to avoid them.
Comment 6 lohmaier 2004-01-06 18:22:05 UTC
Thank you for clarifying this.
Comment 7 lsuarezpotts 2004-01-06 21:57:40 UTC
filed PCN 25117. Reassigning to support for tracking.
thanks

I just got confirmation from engineering that this has been fixed.
I went into a test project & went to submit an issue.
I then see the priority link on the left.
I selected that link & it came up with the priority descriptions.
Closing as verified. Please re-open if need be.
Thanks,
Eric
