Description bryancole 2003-07-14 14:40:13 UTC
Hi, another feature request:

Navigating large documents by links/hyperlinks would be *much* easier if there
was a "back" button (in Navigator maybe). This button would allow the user to
jump back to their previous position in the document after following a link or
cross-reference.

At present if I click on a cross-reference, the hyperlink takes me directly to
the loction of the reference/figure etc. (OK so far). Now, back to where I was
editing .... hmmm... got to scroll all the way back (this is a large document
afterall) or find the nearest heading and use Navigator. Kind of defeats the
point of hyperlinks if it still takes me ages to get back to my edit-point,
after following a link/cross-reference.

A "back" button (like a web-browser) would be real nice.
cheers,
Bryan
