Description pratesi 2003-06-15 23:19:09 UTC
I will attach a test document after submitting this report.
Copy the lambda symbol, which is an OpenSymbol font.
Then try to paste it at the end of the same line; Impress
will paste a StarSymbol font instead of an OpenSymbol font.
The same problem occurs if you select a piece of text with miscellaneous
fonts: all OpenSymbols are pasted as StarSymbols.
This happens, as an example, with %lambda, %omega, %theta, %sigma,
%beta, drarrow.

This is not a big problem if the document has to be handled only through OOo,
as OOo displays correctly StarSymbols; but, if you save the document
as a .ppt file, mspowerpoint does not find StarSymbols and shows squares
instead of symbols, hence you have to change the font type to OpenSymbol
everywhere by hand.
