Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 124379
Error message when opening OpenOfficethat won't go away. Can't quit OpenOffice. Must force quit.
Last modified: 2014-03-08 10:14:25 UTC
Upon opening OpenOffice, get a pop-up saying, "The last time you opened OpenOffice, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try reopen its windows again? If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the windows yourself." There are two buttons -- Don't Reopen and Reopen. Reopen is highlighted. Clicking on either button does nothing. The pop-up stays over everything. Quitting OpenOffice is not possible without forcing quit.
Duplicated of Bug 119006 Bug known since 3.4, http://www.openoffice.org/development/releases/3.4.1.html#AOO3.4.1ReleaseNotes-KnownIssues On recent versions of Mac OS X it might happen, especially after a "Force quit", that the following error message appears: "Restore Windows - The application OpenOffice.org was forced to quit while trying to restore its windows. Do you want to try to restore its windows again?". If you cannot get rid of it: Option-click the "Go" menu; choose "Library" from the menu to open the folder in the Finder; click on the folder "Saved Application State"; delete the file "org.openoffice.script.savedState".
