- New Writer document
- Tools - XML Filter Settings..
- On the "XML Filter Settings" dialog, select the filter named "DocBook File"
- Press the button "Test XSLTs..."
- exporting the current document: On the "Test XML Filter. DocBook File" dialog, press "Current Document" to test the export filter

Result: crash

See attachment 81471 [details] for a gdb backtrace.
Looks like introduced by Revision 1363673 (the Version field might need to be set to 4.0.0, but I only have 4.0.1 to test).

On Linux there are more filters on the list.
Anyway, try with the second one in your screenshot, "MS Word 2003 XML" (supposing you are with a new Writer document)

I can confirm this issue in AOO 4.0.0, AOO 4.0.1 and a local build from a recent trunk version. Works fine in OOo 3.3.0, AOO 3.4.0 and AOO 3.4.1.

Taking over to have a closer look.

fix in progress.

It seems the UOF support has been integrated without considering the existing filters.

Investigation reveals that Ariel's assumption - changes of revision 1363673 - is correct.

It also reveals that these changes are also the cause for bug 123203
