Steps:
1 New a Writer/Calc/Presentation
2.Focus on font name or font name by F6, select other value with down/up arrow 
Expected: Focused value should be identified
Actual: Focused value can't be identified

Add Testing environment and build Nmuber
On Windows 7 64-bit with ia2 branch with AT activated

I can't confirm this.

What AT are you using? This is an edit field and NVDA does announce the change as I press the up/down arrow keys. I'd have to check exactly what event is being fired (probably a caret event), but some event definitely is fired. You can also expand the list by pressing alt+downArrow.
