It seems like more people are experiencing this problem with "saved state" files. What shows up here is just the very tip of the iceberg. Many people have probably don't bother reporting in this forum and have just given up on OpenOffice and switched to something else. I don't want to buy MS Office for Mac and I had really enjoyed having OpenOffice. I have had to switch to IBM Symphony and I really don't like it.

PLEASE tell us what "saved state" files are and how to remove them!

Not a valid bug report.

Problem is already discussed by reporter in "Bug 123131 - Nothing happens when click any button in 'Restore Windows' message", what itself seems to be a DUP of 
"Bug 119006 - Restore windows problem on Mac OS X", what has been marked as fixed

A possible workaround might be linked in

For now I will mark all similar bugs as DUP of Bug 119006
Please feel free to reopen that bug if you find out that the workaround does not help you.
