Screenshot

I am using AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503704; 2013-07-16 14:54:56 (Di, 16 Jul 2013), on Win 7 x64. My System: processor i3 (intel), RAM:6 GB, 64 bit - operating system, grafics: Radeon (TM) HD 7670M.

After executing my macro, some cells filled with numbers become deformed (I can not recognize numbers in cell). If I then use the ruler to see to the left or to the right of the sheet, images becomes distorted and mixed up. When I click on another open Calc document and then go back to the first document, the image is than fine and I can use the ruler without any deformation or irregularities in the view of the active list.
I think this is very important, because if I can not see clear what is on my sheet, than I do not need program like this.
I am using the same Calc document, with same macros in AOO 3.41 (on same lap top) and there is no problems like in AOO 4.00.

Calc document for testing

Before you open Calc document allow macro in your AOOs set up. When you open this document, automatically will be open sheet with name "RAČUNI". There are, in one cell, red colored instructions.

I am using Win 7 x64. Also, my set up abotu memory of AOO are: graphic cache: 100MB, memory per object: 5,2 MB, Remove from memory after 10 min. Cash for inserted object (number of object): 64. View: graphics output: use hardware acceleration (checked), use Anti-aliasing (checked).
What is your set up?

Is your Win 7 64 bit or 32? Also, another things about my set up of AOO : Tools/Cell Contents: AutoCalculate (checked), AutoInput (checked).
Have any idea what might be a cause?
Comment 10 Edwin Sharp 2013-07-24 15:42:44 UTC
64 bit.
Same setup.

I have no idea what is causing this.
Comment 11 sevalav 2013-07-24 16:06:11 UTC
From where I can download Rev. 1505643? My AOO is Rev. 1503704.

OPS! I am sorry for my bad english. Everywhere where I mentioned ruler that was actualy scroll bar.
So, after executing my macro, if I then use the vertical or horisontal SCROLL BAR to see to the left or to the right of the sheet (do this several times), image of sheet becomes distorted and mixed up.

I have now on my lap top AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1505643. The same thing happens: images becomes distorted and mixed up to.

Win 7 at your work, is it Home Premium or?
I have Win7 Home Premium 64x and Kirill have the same who reported the same bug (look here: https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122823 )...

Also, the same bug is here reported too:
https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=122149

The result is the same in both case: distorted image of sheet. From someone who will wanted to fix this bug must considered all causes. But yes, it can be marked as duplicate.
Comment 19 sevalav 2013-07-26 10:50:32 UTC
I tested again my Calc file and I got the following result:
AutoCalculate (Tools / Mobile Content / AutoCalculate) is involved in this problem.
When I turn off the AutoCalculate option and execute my macro, everything is ok. There is no sign of a distorted picture (even if I using scroll bars). But when I turn on AutoCalculate option, the active cell with the formula will be updating. After that updating, when I use the scroll bars, the same image of sheet is with irregularities.

Might be Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.0-Dev – German UI / German locale [AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1503709 (2013-07-17) ]" on German German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User Profile, but reporter's description is too general to decide whether I see the same problem.

Steps how to reproduce:

1. Open Document
2. Follow instructions, in dialog inserting No "10", click radio button "Račun"
(I did not find and option button "Računi", Press most top left "+1" button
After Macro execution I see wrong cell backgrounds, truncated cell text
   contents and many other damages

Additional info:
a) I also can confirm that the problem disappears with unchecked menu
'Tools -> Cell contents -> Auto Recalculate'
b) was ok with 3.4.0, so REGRESSION
c) Might be related to Bug 122149 or even DUP, I can't tell

Comment 22 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-08-01 18:25:35 UTC
This one probably is a DUP of "Bug 122149 - repaint error when scrolling with active AutoCalculate"

@reporter:
Please feel free to reopen this Bug if you find evidence that we have an independent issue here (for example because the fix for the other bug does not work for you).

The same problem I noticed in earlier version of LibreOffice. With Libre Office 4.0.4.2 this problem not exist any more. Maybe somebody can look the code of LO or contac some LO programers and find solution quicker.
Comment 24 Kirill 2013-08-02 07:03:54 UTC
In my case (inserted images redraw problems while scrolling) dis-activating of AutoCalculate didn't help. Nowtimes problem appears on MacOs, Win7 64x, Win7 32x. I am compelled to refuse the OO4.0.0 and roll back to OO3.4.1
Comment 25 sevalav 2013-08-02 12:24:39 UTC
I am using now 3.4.1 again.
Comment 26 Kirill 2013-08-02 12:37:39 UTC
Interestingly, somebody from Apaches hears us, or we here in itself turn? OO have a lot of problems with inserted images.
Comment 27 Rainer Bielefeld 2013-08-08 18:09:52 UTC
Problems due to Comment 20 are
Still Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.0-Dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO400m3(Build:9702) - Rev. 1511231 2013-08-08]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.

So we might have a separate problem here independent from Bug 122149?
