Description Mechtilde 2013-02-04 19:05:37 UTC
Hello,

I tried to install the nightly Dev-Build (http://ci.apache.org/projects/openoffice/#linux64 1442021) under Debian 7.0 (Testing).

The desktop-integration isn't installable. It seems there are some wrong entries for the dependencies.

I looked into the fife "control" in the Package apache_openoffice3.5-debian-menus_3.5-9611_all.deb:

The first line is missing something, I think.

Instead of "Package: apache" There must be "Package: apache_openoffice3.5-debian-menus"

Otherwise it isn't installable

Regards

Mechtilde

It is a known bug, see http://markmail.org/message/fbhqika6dliouwyt
Re-branding from OpenOffice.org to Apache OpenOffice is still unfinished

Added dependency on bug 121388

Note that besides the package name fix, the package should *obsolete* previous desktop integration packages named oepnoffice.org*, otherwise a conflict won't let install the new 4.0 package as it will overwrite files provided by the old packages.

@mechtilde:
I had finished the renaming (bug 121388) and considered Ariel's findings regarding the Linux packages.
Please verify that this issue is fixed, when the new buildbot builds are available containing my changes made for bug 121388.
Thanks in advance.
