Since I upgraded to 3.4.1 I have had a persistent recurring problem of

"A CRASH HAS OCCURRED" errors. 

These happen daily and sometimes, like today, I will restore the programs only to have them crash again immediately. If it were possible I would go back to the previous program. I was extremely happy with Open Office but now it is a real pain in the behind.

Something to try.  Please take a look at the first item in the "Known issues" section of the 3.4.1 release notes:

Could you try that solution and let us know if the crashes go away?

No response in over a month, so assuming this is a duplicate of the profile issue described in in 121625.
