Description Richard Boettner 2012-06-27 18:02:10 UTC
I installed yesterday the new version of OO and as soon as I started the Word part it crashed. Thought maybe it way a one time thing. Tried again and it crashed my computer again. I need legacy version of OO to finish my work NOW. Where are they? Why are they so hard to find?

I tried to work with a docx file and all I saw before the crash the first time was pure garbage.

I have 1gig mem - windows xp - service pack 2 - my computer is a decade old and the rest is trivial because I need to be able to go back to previous version of OO to finish what I am working on. When I get my MAC I will be more than happy to try out the newer OO.

Thanks,

Richard Boettner

Comfort of software pirates and cheapscates is not a primary developers' concern.
You are getting what you have paid for, so please be civil and humble.

I think what Davian meant to say was we don't use Bugzilla for technical support or for asking urgent questions. We use it for reporting specific product defects so our developers can investigate the issue.

If you want technical support you can visit our forums here: http://user.services.openoffice.org/

If you are looking for older versions of OpenOffice.org you can download then here:
